What I Wore to a Wedding: Lipsy
I recently flew home to Ireland for Colm’s brothers wedding. Read all about my trip to Ireland here. I was only in Ireland for 10 days so no time to shop! I bought this beauty of a dress on ASOS in their sale. It’s a Lipsy dress – no surprises there. I love the cut on Lipsy dresses as they really flatter my body type. Their sizing is also really true to size for me so I find it easy to pick up their dresses online as I know they’ll fit. Really lazy shopping for me!
This dress was $107 on sale. It’s original price was $160. If you like it – Shop it here.
I loved this dress. it was so comfy! I love the maxi dress style and especially with the sweetheart mesh neckline. I found it really flattering for my figure and gave me curves in all the right places. Hello leg slits! 🙂
I also really liked the embroidered band around the waist. It had just the right amount of pzazz to be dressy enough for a wedding but was also a dark colour so it wasn’t too out there either.
It’s also 100% polyester and machine washable so was great not to have to worry about getting it dry cleaned before I flew back to Sydney!
My bracelet is from Penneys and was only 2E. I also wore a hair piece to give me length. I picked one up in Hairspray in Dundrum for 150E when I was home for another wedding last October. It matches perfectly with my current hair colour and was great for added volume and extra length!
What do you think? Do you have a favourite place/ brand to shop for occasion wear?
