Before I headed back to Ireland for the holidays, I decided I needed a bit of a change. I’ve been in Australia now for almost 2 years and in that space of time, the most adventurous I’ve gotten was getting some highlights, which is very unlike me.
I used to change my hair colour almost as much as I bought new shoes – which was all the time!
I asked some of the girls I worked with for recommendations for a good colorist and found myself sitting in Goop Hair Salon on Beaumont St, Hamilton, NSW 2303.
I knew what I wanted going into the salon. Subtle balayage. Which is pretty much what I got. I had a couple of images to show the hairdressers.I think my hairdresser was called Lynda (it was a while ago now so I’m not 100%)
My colour was done using L’Oreal INOA. I’m pretty happy with the result. It cost $250 though which is a bit on the expensive side but I figure, if you are wearing your hair everyday you might as well look good doing it! Hair is one thing I don’t mind spending a bit more on because it is something absolutely everyone sees and first impressions….
