Skin B5 Acne Control Moisturizer
I was gifted the Skin B5 Acne Control Moisturizer to trial by Ry.com.au. I’m going to start this review by telling you that I have used this moisturizer for almost 3 months so have gone past the breakout for new product stage. I feel it’s important to give products a shot when it comes to skincare as you often need 6 weeks to really see if a product works.
I found this moisturizer to be very drying on my skin. If you have really oily skin, I feel this could be a good fit for you, however it wasn’t for me this time. This could also be down to the change in weather. I do have oily skin and suffer from acne but I found that trialing this coming into winter was probably not a great time as my skin needed a bit more moisture than this product provided.

Major pluses to the product are that it contains no Benzoyl Peroxide. It is quite a light moisturizer so ideally I think it will suit me better in summer time perfectly.
The formula is not greasy at all which gets major points for me as so often moisturizers can be quite greasy and leave a residue which can clog pores.
While I did break out initially, I found that my skin cleared up pretty quickly.
My skin wasn’t shiny at all while using the product which is an A+. It also contains powerful natural ingredients: Green Tea, Jojoba Oil and Vitamin B5 that deeply moisturize and help prevent breakouts. The bottle is also a handy handbag size.
It retails for $22.95 FOR 50ml of product which isn’t too bad for a good moisturizer.
If you suffer from bad acne as opposed to occasional acne, I would highly recommend seeking professional help as using the wrong products for your skin can aggravate acne. The type of acne you suffer from will also factor into whether products work for you as if you suffer from hormonal acne, trying different products will not really make much of a difference in my opinion.
