I had a pleasant surprise when the imagery from Lennon Courtney’s latest collaboration with Dunnes Stores (an Irish brand – they offer free international shipping on orders over 100E) hit my inbox.
The collection is filled with statement shapes, confident colors and key wardrobe pieces but with a twist. I personally love the tailoring. As I looked through the collection, there is very little I couldn’t wear on a day-to-day basis for work, which doesn’t happen often.
Lennon and Courtney have definitely had fun playing around with shapes and color particularly which is evident throughout the collection.

For those who have never heard of ‘Lennon Courtney’, named after Sonia Lennon and Brendan Courtney. The duo first became household names in Ireland on Irish Fashion TV show ‘Off the Rails’, which saw the presenters show everyday Irish women how to style themselves to show off their best assets. The show ran for 13 seasons, which just goes to show that they know their stuff.
With a combined 40 years industry experience as fashion stylists, their designs are inspired by a philosophy which focuses on clothes and styles that are uniquely tailored to the shape of modern women and not your typical runway models as many other brands do. Both Lennon and Courtney’s experience as stylists have given them a unique insight as to design to flatter is no mean feat.
As I now live in Australia, nothing excites me more than to showcase modern Ireland and the talent there. Often when I speak to people about Ireland, they think of leprechauns and celtic music which is part of our heritage. Ireland isn’t just about the traditional past, there is an insane amount of quality talent there. So go forth and shop!
