BLACK BODYCON DRESS: ROCK BAR BALI
I bought this beautiful black bodycon dress on Black Swallow in their recent sale. I’ve been searching for the perfect occasion to wear it and low and behold I found it – on my holiday in Bali! We ventured out to Rock Bar, one of the bars in our hotel, Ayana. The view was incredible!
I wanted to wear something dressy but to still feel comfortable so I chose this little ensemble.
The cost me about $60. I also picked up a gold one shoulder bodycon dress (which I plan on wearing to a New Years Eve wedding) too and both came to $100 together in the sale and with a 10% discount code I had. The material is quite thick and so naturally sucks everything in, which I found great. I wasn’t feeling very conscious of my body because of the thick material which was a nice surprise.
It’s been a very long time since I have squeezed into a bodycon dress but I am happy to say the event was a success. I wore a black and cream Billabong cover up from Ozmosis – also in their sale. My necklace is from H&M. Sandals are ASOS own brand. I chose not to wear heels as if you have ever been to Rock Bar in Bali, there are a lot of steps – I would rather have a few drinks and not have to worry about climbing back up to my hotel bed!
