Lovethis.ie Review: Effaclar Duo
As always, I am still on my mission for the ultimate clear skin. I’ve heard so much and read heaps about the La Roche Posay Effaclar Range so I picked up the foaming gel and the famous Effaclar Duo the last time I was in Priceline.
I used the gel for about 6 weeks before I gave up on it as it’s just far too drying for me. If you have really oily skin, I would think this would be perfect for drying out your skin but I have combination skin so I just found it was too drying. I actually didn’t like this gel at all but I have read reviews from beauty bloggers who have loved it so I guess it comes down to whether this product works for you.
The product that I have completely fallen in love with is Effaclar Duo! I haven’t been using it religiously every morning and night but when I do use it I do notice a big difference. My spots aren’t as red and are less inflamed. It claims to unclog your pores and I would have to agree that it definitely does do this.
I always find it really interesting that in a brands skincare range not all the products in the range will suit my skin so I have to pick and choose carefully.
One product in the Effaclar range that I do want to try is the Micellar Water. Micellar Waters have suddenly become all the rage to use. Back in Ireland, I used the Nuxe one which I loved so it will be interesting to see how the Effaclar one stacks up.
