I recently picked up Urban Decay’s Gold Glitter Eyeliner (Midnight Cowboy). How cute does this look on?!
I love Urban Decay as a brand as their products always look on trend and nearly always live up to their hype. I own the first 3 naked palettes. Hopefully, will soon own the fourth, the smokey eye palette and a whole host of other products from primers to bronzers just check out this list of my recent haul or watch this youtube video for a couple of their bits.
I was a little nervous to try this glitter liner as I’ve tried a couple before from other brands which didn’t entirely live up to my expectations but Urban Decay usually have good pigment in their shadows and their pencil liners are pretty good so I was game enough to try this one.
I found that this product was pretty true to what it was. It was easy to use and could be layered to create a thicker line or used sparingly. I love the fact that I can get away with wearing this during the day. I’ve also used this with Napolean Perdis’ China Doll Gel Gold liquid liner which also worked well. I’ve been playing around with this for the last week using different colours like green and purple liners along with this too which looked beautiful together. In the above images, my top line is Urban Decay ‘s glitter liner and my bottom lash line is lined with NP’s Lush Lagoon liner.
So what do I rate this? 4/5 – only due to the fact that the bottle is so small. For the price I paid – $30, I don’t know how long this little bottle will last.
