Bellabox June 2015

This post has been brought to you by Bellabox and Nuffnang.

If you are one of my regular readers, you’ll know I used to receive Bellabox on a monthly basis. I loved the fact that each month, I received a little surprise gift from myself. I never knew what was going to be in the box so I was constantly discovering new brands.

I stopped my subscription when I received the same products – Pantene Shampoo, Wen cleansing conditioner and nail polish – repeatedly. I mean your not really ‘discovering’ if the company are just filling boxes which is what it seemed like to me at the time.

Bellabox also recently brought in a quiz which they design your box from so it’s now super personalised which I love.

I was recently sent Bellabox’s June box through Nuffnang and it definitely looks like they’ve lifted their game.

For those who don’t know about Bellabox, it’s a monthly subscription beauty box, $17.95 per month, which delivers beauty samples in a blue box (pictured above). The June box is being sent out in a brown box though as the Original Source shower gel is too big to fit in the blue box.The boxes generally include 1 full size item which makes the box pretty good value. I love the fact that you can try beauty samples before you commit part of your paycheck because let’s face it beauty products can be expensive.

The brands included in the June box which I received are:

• Aveda
• Burt’s Bees
• Jean Patou
• Original source
• Universal Beauty Cosmetics
Not bad for $17.95. The full size items I received, were an Original Source Skin Quench shower gel in Watermelon and Jojoba Oil, a Universal Beauty Cosmetics Tint Stick in nude pink and a Burts Bees Beeswax Lip Balm with Vitamin E and Peppermint. The fourth product I received was Aveda’s Damage Ready Hair Treatment. I also received a free sample parfum – JOY by Jean Patou.
All in all, this box is HEAPS better than previous offerings.Three full size items that I will actually get use out of is a definite plus. I have also used Burts Bees in the past so I know I’ll get use out of their lip balm.
I have never used any of Aveda’s hair treatments and I have never even heard of Jean Patou so I am looking forward to trying these babies out. I found signing up to a subscription box
If you want to find out more about this box or want to sign up for Bellabox please click this link.  The June box I have written this blog post about is only available until June 17th and only to new subscribers so what are you waiting for? Click through to Bellabox here.

P.S. Handy Tip: The blue boxes make for really cute storage in the bathroom. I use mine to store all my beauty sample sachets and bobby pins among other bits and bobs. What do you do with yours?
