What I Wore: Picnic with Jacobs Creek

‘What does one wear to a picnic?’ I found myself wondering.

I opted for a cream chiffon dress which I bought in Warehouse in House of Fraser, Dundrum on my recent trip to Ireland. It was on sale. I got it for 30EUR reduced from 95 EUR. Lucky me!

I love the lace detail across the shoulders, arms and bust. It’s so delicate and feminine. I also really like the sheer panel at the back. It’s just a little bit sexy but not over the top. I bought this dress in cream as I was hoping to have a slight tan by now.

I bought a cute little gold leaf hair clip on ASOS for my hair. This was under $20 – I can’t remember exactly how much I paid.

I have hair extensions on in this post too. I curled them and plaited them to keep my hair away from my eyes as it was really really windy when we were leaving Newcastle for Sydney.

I also opted for really neutral make up. Foundation is Chanel’s Vitalumiere Aqua, Mascara is Too Faced Better Than Sex, Blush is Benefit’s Dandelion and eyeshadow is from the Urban Decay Naked Palette 2. Lippy is a mix of MAC Velvet Teddy and an old SHE one which the label has rubbed off.
